In setting expectations and creating a climate conducive to effective engagement/partnership implementation, the Board acknowledges the importance of administrative leadership at all levels, including its own. Therefore, the Board directs the Department to establish an organizational culture characterized by practices and programs that build and sustain positive and engaged relationships with families and communities.
School Lunch Pickup has Moved!

For the safety our students and staff, there are new procedures for picking up breakfast and lunch.
Parking for PICKUP FOR BREAKFAST and LUNCH has moved to Kanaknui St. Please use this street to park and walk towards the makai walkway that is between the cafeteria and school building.
Panorama Student Survey
In November, your child will be asked to complete the 2020-2021 Panorama Student Survey. Your child’s perspective is highly valued. Their responses to the survey represent her/his voice in enhancing teacher practice and the whole school climate. We are listening!
To request that your child be exempted from the survey, please complete the Panorama Student Survey Declination Form below by October 23rd. Completed forms can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or brought to our front office.

Pu'uhale Elementary strives to enrich the quality of community life for students and staff. The school provides an environment that is safe, nurturing and caring. It is committed to maintaining effective communication, goal-oriented teamwork and data-driven planning focused on student achievement. Pu'uhale Elementary provides literacy, math, science and technology supports, as well as programs to develop students’ artistic abilities. Parents, volunteers and neighboring businesses work side by side in supporting the school and students. According to the Hawai'i DOE website, the Strive HI Performance System is a school accountability and improvement system. It is designed to meet the needs of students, educators and schools, and position them for success. It uses data to measure progress and target resources.
